COLOUR CRUSH: Celadon
Next up on the colour crush posts is Celadon.
Celadon you say? Are you crazy?
We know……we know that this is definitely not one of those typical go to fashion colours. It is usually seen in bridal colour stories, around the house for decorating, and the most familiar of its uses is in Chinese ceramics. Celadon pretty much means ‘type of glaze’ which varies from a greeny- blue, pale jade or our personal favourite a sage/celery tone.
We really love it’s earthy, ethereal, airy, feminine undertones. It’s a refreshing change from the bright kelly and aqua greens that have been trending for the last several summers.
We don’t know about you, but we have this sudden urge for a green smoothie and some mint chocolate chips.
Dare to celadon. You’ll love it!
