    After graduating from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Michelle embarked on a career in film and fashion. Michelle’s keen ability to decipher trends and convey style led to her thriving personal styling profession. She is now one of Vancouver’s top stylists. Her clients range from urban moms and chic businesswomen and men, to local television personalities. Her work has been seen on A-listers such as Ginnifer Goodwin and she is often called on to style celebrities for press junkets and red carpets events.

    Michelle is a regular style contributor for CTV and is frequently asked to contribute to national style columns and television shows. She works for the channel as the wardrobe stylist for their CTV Morning Live and 6 pm news.

    As one of Canada’s innovative fashion designers, Izzy Camilleri has made a name for herself crafting clothing for national and international clients for almost 30 years. From her earliest runway collections to her recent groundbreaking work designing high-style wardrobe essentials for people in wheelchairs, Izzy has built her reputation by consistently creating clothing that is provocative yet refined, sophisticated, and always wearable.

    After finding success with her own collections, Izzy shifted to the film and television industry, designing clothing for feature films, TV series, and music videos. That iconic fur worn by Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada is a Camilleri original! In 2000, Izzy re launched her eponymous line, winning fans like David Bowie and Angelina Jolie, and snagging Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards’ (CAFA) Womenswear Designer of the Year in 2006.

    Samantha, a Montrealer, began her career in fashion in 2010 co-launching her own jewelry collection, SKmtl and winning 1st place in Montreal’s 2011 Wearable Art Fashion Show. She spent three years living in New York City studying Fashion Merchandising Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), where she graduated with the highest of distinctions. During this time, Samantha received the award for best graduating thesis, was among the top five students selected to represent FIT at the New York Economic club and grew her work experience at the Michael Kors NY office. She also worked as the buyer for Ogilvy’s first gift and gourmet shop.
    Samantha has found herself back in Montreal working in marketing and special events for Ogilvy, part of Holt Renfrew & Co. collection. She is the author of the lifestyle blog Silver Lining by S and this past November was nominated at the 2014 Notable awards in event planning.

    Marie Geneviève Cyr is an Assistant Professor in the BFA Fashion Design program at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City. She has an MA in Visual Culture/Fashion Theory from New York University, a BA in Design and Applied Arts from the Edinburgh College of Art and a degree in Fashion Design from the Collège Marie-Victorin.

    Throughout her professional career, she has worked with several fashion designers such as Zac Posen, Ashleigh Verrier and companies such as Cirque du Soleil. She has received many awards and some of her creations have been exhibited in museums in China, the United States, and Canada. In 2007, she was part of the top three finalists on Project Runway Canada and in 2009, was nominated for a Genie Award by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television for “Best Costume Design”.

    After her studies in communications at UQAM, circumstances led Judith Desjardins towards her passion for fashion design. Judith initially worked as an assistant stylist before launching her BODYBAG by Jude line in 1998.

    Entirely manufactured in Québec, the comfortable and edgy classic cuts are a secret well shared amongst fashionistas. Internationally acclaimed Nicole Kidman was seen wearing her creation on the David Letterman Show and local stars such as, Geneviève Borne and Arianne Moffat are also BODYBAG enthusiasts.

    In the spring of 2008, Judith launches a new “couture” line called J.U.D.E: justified unique design experience, a high end collection tailored with a European flair.

    With an Atelier-Boutique in Mile-End and two distinct labels, Judith is a must-visit Montreal designer.

    Originally from Lévis, Québec, Émilie Fournier started her career as a model before pursuing her education in Communications at the University of Laval. She furthered her academic journey at ProMedia, a specialized school in Radio and Television, eventually shifting her focus to work in fashion & music event planning.

    In 2010, Émilie becomes a New Face for TVA, a French television channel, as well as Montreal Fashion Week’s official blogger. Many other projects come her way such as hosting Les auditions de Star Académie en prolongation, reporting for Sucré Salé and being the social media specialist for Salut Bonjour week-end.

    In addition to her TV projects, Emilie collaborates with Clin d’oeil Magazine for the Mode Labo section and writes articles for its website. She also launched her lifestyle blog in 2014: emfournier.com.

    Sonia Moffa’s childhood dream was to become a fashion designer. She pursued this goal and graduated in fashion design in 1996. A year later, Sonia went on to win first prize in the Jeune designer du Québec competition for the Montreal region.
    Sonia has contributed to the fashion industry for the past 20 years. Her early experiences include brands such as Irving Samuel and Farouche. It is in 2001 that Sonia joins Joseph Ribkoff, an internationally renowned Montreal company founded in 1957, and we can see her imprint in the development of all the collections.

    For the past years, Joseph Ribkoff has the honour of dressing Miss America in all her official appearances.
