We were pleased to welcome Baylor University from Waco, Texas at our TÉLIO Head Office in Montreal. This group of students showed enthusiasm and motivation to learn more about the world of textiles. TÉLIO would like to thank all those who participated! Good luck with your studies Baylor Bears!!!
The Baylor University Apparel Merchandising and Apparel Design program has approximately 150 majors and attracts students from all over the United States. One of the best opportunities for our students is the chance to visit successful companies and see firsthand how the industry works. Our Montreal and New York trip is extremely popular. This summer’s trip had twenty-four students and three faculties in attendance, and we visited companies such as ALDO, Holt Renfrew, Phillippe Dubuc and La Marque Collection during our five-day visit to Montreal. Our TÉLIO visit was a favorite among the students. The employees of TÉLIO are so generous and always give us so much time and attention! We learned about everything from how forecasting is done to how the warehouse is managed to how sample cards are made – from start to finish. The students were excited to learn about this important part of the fashion industry and many are now interested in working for TÉLIO as interns or employees because it is clearly such a great company.
